Lucinda Presley, Founder and Executive Director, integrates the sciences, technology, engineering, math, the arts, and humanities learning with creative and innovative thinking (STEAM) in K-12 and out-of-school-time settings.
Ms. Presley works with partners in Texas, nationally, and internationally, developing STEAM school and museum programming, writing curriculum, and training teachers. She also is Director of ICEE Success Foundation’s STEAM museum, Curious. Additionally, she is Chair and Executive Director of the Washington, DC-based Innovation Collaborative, a national STEAM coalition. With over 25 years’ experience in writing curriculum and developing STEAM programming for schools and museums, she has led STEAM education initiatives and teacher/artist training in the art realm, the science realm, and for a national arts provider. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and has been an adjunct instructor of art at a large community college for over 20 years, where she recently was named Adjunct Professor of the Year. |
